Luna's 7th Annual GALA
Photobucket

Dear Friends and Luna Supporters!

Thank you for making our 7th Spring Gala the best one yet. People loved dancing to The Tear Jerkers, the wine and beer flowed, and the snacks were yummy! Food and drink were generously donated by:

Clif Bar Family Winery
Edmund St. John Winery
Berkeley's Trumer Pils
Alameda's Wally Holden

[see below for list of all gala donors]

We enjoyed the gala at our new location, Kala Gallery - a beautiful site, but we could not have done it without the support and furniture loan from Clif Bar and hard work of our many volunteers.

Despite the wonderful time had by all, and the largest crowd ever, we fell short of our financial goal. We are putting our efforts into meeting our financial goals before our fiscal year ends June 30th If you are in a position to do so, here is how you can help:

  • We accept tax-deductible donations in any amount at any time; however, donations given before June 30th, will directly effect our bottom line for fiscal year 2009-10.
  • We have a few outstanding auction items remaining from our silent auction available for purchase. If you are interested in any of the items listed below, please let us know. Name your price by contacting gala@lunakidsdance.org or call 510.644.3629.
  • If you have positive relationships with trustees on family or community foundations, please recommend our work. Many funders have moved to a "by invitation only" process and we would like to be invited!
  • Finally, as we look forward we will continue to need help in 2010-11. You can support our work of bringing dance to all children by signing up for escrip (escrip.com, enter Luna's name), referring families to our programs, and attending our event next year!
